Guido Van Rossum, born January 31st, 1956, graduated from the University of Amsterdam in 1982. He is credited with creating the Python programming language, used around the world for its readability and ease when coding. He continued to work at Google and Dropbox.

Grace Hopper, born December 9th, 1906, graduated from multiple universities with degrees specializing in mathematics. Hopper went on to develop Common Business Oriented Language (COBOL). This was one of the first standardized computer languages, used for finance and business code. She also developed the first compiler code, A-0, which translated mathematical code into machine-readable code. Hopper was essential in the creation of modern programming languages.
